Ofsted report

What is an Ofsted report?

Ofsted (the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) is the government department that inspects and regulates care and educational services for children and young people. It inspects all English maintained schools and academies at least once every three years. It then publishes a public report on the school’s performance, students’ work, observation reports on lessons and views from staff, parents and students, and makes suggestions for improvements that the school is expected to put into practice.

The report makes judgements on:

  • achievements and standards
  • pupils’ development and wellbeing
  • the quality of teaching and learning
  • how the curriculum is taught
  • the care, guidance and support the school provides
  • how well the school is led and managed.

Schools are rated on a four-point scale:

  • Outstanding
  • Good
  • Requires improvement
  • Inadequate

Our School was last inspected in January 2022 and we were judged to be a 'Good' School!

What is the School Data Dashboard?

The School Data Dashboard provides a high-level summary of a school's performance data. The data is presented in
a simple, accessible way to ensure that users do not require an in-depth knowledge of school statistics to use it.
